Character description

Dawnbreaker is a melee character. Her primary attribute is strength. The hero is mainly taken as a hardlaner. Most effective in the mid game.

Role description

Abilities such as Luminosity and Solar Guardian make Dawnbreaker an indispensable ally that can turn the tide of any enemy initiation and help allies restore health in almost any situation. Upgrading the ultimate with Aghanim's Scepter makes it easier for allies to stand physical attacks. Starbreaker allows the character to farm groups of creeps, and in fights, to stun and deal damage to several enemies at once. Once upgraded with Aghanim's Shard, this ability becomes uninterruptible in most cases. Celestial Hammer allows the Dawnbreaker to quickly move around the map and slow down enemies.

Character lore

Valora was called to spread the glow of the Children's wisdom to the darkest reaches of the universe. However, the Children of Light's spark was utterly extinguished, and the Dawnbreaker was left adrift in a black expanse, lost for untold millennia before crashing on an unfamiliar world. She knows her gods may be gone, but the heft of her hammer remains — matched only by her will to wield it justly in the name of goodness and light.
