Outworld Destroyer is a ranged character. His primary attribute is intelligence. The hero is mainly taken as a midlaner. Most effective in the mid and late game.
Outworld Destroyer is capable of dealing a large amount of magical damage. In single combat, he is a dangerous opponent due to the Arcane Orb ability, which allows him to deal damage even to an enemy with a high armor rate. Astral Imprisonment allows both last hit an enemy and save an ally. This spell can be upgraded with Aghanim's Shard allowing the hero's allies to move safely during any fight. After purchasing Aghanim's Scepter, this ability can be cast more often. Due to Essence Flux Outworld Destroyer almost never runs out of mana. In a team fight, Sanity's Eclipse allows the hero to deal massive amounts of damage in a large area. The ability is especially effective against strength and agility heroes.
Harbinger has spent an eternity in the jagged, crystalline Outworld. With his whole being focused on observing the order of the cosmos, Outworld Destroyer paid little attention to events closer in to the sun. The conflict of the Ancients and a sense of growing threat forced him to move towards the sun, towards the expanse of battles.
