Skywrath Mage is a ranged character. His primary attribute is intelligence. The hero is mainly taken as a midlaner. Most effective in the mid and late game.
Skywrath Mage has a huge magical potential, which allows him to be effective both in single combat and in team fights. The Arcane Bolt ability allows him to harass enemies during the laning stage and in the late game, dealing damage depending on the character's intelligence level. Concussive Shot is suitable for both farming creeps and preventing opponents from escaping during team fights. Any magical initiation can be enhanced with Ancient Seal. The Mystic Flare ability can almost instantly eliminate a single opponent and remains effective even in the late game. With the purchase of Aghanim's Shard, Skywrath Mage gets the Shield of the Scion passive ability, which makes the hero stronger in long fights. Aghanim's Scepter will allow the character to deal twice as much damage in almost any team fight, which makes purchasing this item especially important in the late game.
Dragonus has sworn to protect whoever sits within the Nest of Thorns, but he hates the current Skywrath queen with all his soul.
