Description

Character description

Techies is a ranged character. His primary attribute is intelligence. The hero is mainly taken to the hard lane as a support. Most effective in the early and mid game.

Role description

Techies is a very useful hero in team fights due to his AoE spells. Already at the laning stage, he is able to effectively trade blows with enemies due to the Blast Off ability, which allows him to deal huge area damage, and with the purchase of Aghanim's Shard, the ability becomes especially useful during initiation and in team fights. Sticky Bomb slows down target units and often forces them to move away from their allies. Reactive Tazer allows Techies to stand almost any enemy attack. This spell is especially effective against illusion heroes and summoners, and with the purchase of Aghanim's Scepter, it can also be cast on allies. Minefield Sign can be effective in certain cases, but often this ability is of little use. Proximity Mines allows the character to eliminate heroes even when far away from them, defend the territory, farm large groups of creeps, and deal a lot of damage in team fights.

Character lore

Where Techies appear, towns disappear. The trio decided to test their invention for the safe detonating explosives in the mines, but they accidentally destroyed Dredger's Bight. Sitting at the edge of their sinking home they grinned and giggled. They wondered only one thing: how could they trigger an even bigger blast?
