Bristleback is a melee character. His primary attribute is strength. The hero is mainly taken as a hardlaner. Most effective in the mid and late game.
The Bristleback ability makes the hero an indispensable unit in mass fights. It makes him able to absorb a huge amount of damage, and Quill Spray becomes more dangerous for the enemy with each activation. Viscous Nasal Goo is very effective when chasing enemies, especially ranged heroes. Aghanim's Scepter gives this ability AoE effect. Hairball is an ability that appears after buying Aghanim's Shard. It allows Bristleback to start initiation from medium range or last hit an escaping hero. Thanks to Warpath, each use of abilities buffs the hero.
