Riki is a melee character. His primary attribute is agility. The hero is mainly taken to the easy lane as a carry. Most effective in the mid and late game.
The hero is difficult to catch thanks to his Blink Strike ability, which allows him to instantly get behind an enemy or move away from him to an ally. Tricks of the Trade is often not only an offensive spell. It also allows the character to survive enemy attack. Cloak and Dagger gives Riki the ability to attack opponents more often forcing enemy supports to spend more resources on consumables. Smoke Screen is a formidable weapon, especially in the early game, and if the enemy hero doesn’t leave the spell area, he will be at a disadvantage. Aghanim's Shard grants Riki the Sleeping Dart ability, which temporarily disables the target enemy. Aghanim's Scepter upgrades Tricks of the Trade, allowing the hero to aply this ability on his ally, which can be very useful when initiating or avoiding an unnecessary fight.
Riki was born middle child to the great dynasty of Tahlin. All his life he studied the art of invisibility, which saved him the day his family was attacked. Now Riki is Stealth Assassin. He silences his enemies, sharpening his skills, hoping to one day take revenge on those who killed his family.
