Falchion Knife | Fade was added to the game on May 26, 2015, alongside the start of Operation Bloodhound. The skin is available in The Falchion Case.
The blade of the knife is chromed and coated with translucent paints creating gradient transitions. The pattern is made in various shades of purple, pink and yellow. The color ratio depends on the pattern index. The main part of the handle is painted beige and complemented with a yellow gradient area. The front and the back part of the handle remain unpainted.
Float Value of the skin ranges from 0.00 to 0.08, which makes Falchion Knife | Fade available only in Factory New and Minimal Wear condition. At levels of wear close to the maximum, the knife has noticeable scratches and abrasions located along the cutting edge.
The pattern index affects the color ratio of the skin. Falchion Knife | Fade with a maximum amount of purple on the tip of the blade (“100% Fade” or “Full Fade”) is considered to be the most valuable pattern variation. The less valuable pattern variations where the amount of purple decreases are titled “99% Fade” (or “fake Full Fade”) and “98% Fade”.
