Karambit | Fade was added to the game on August 14, 2013, alongside "The Arms Deal" update. The skin is available in 11 cases released in 2013-2015.
The blade of the knife is chromed and coated with translucent paints creating a gradient. The pattern is made in various shades of purple, pink and yellow. The color ratio depends on the pattern index. The ring is painted light beige and the handle remains unpainted.
Float Value of the skin ranges from 0.00 to 0.08, which makes Karambit | Fade available only in Factory New and Minimal Wear condition. At levels of wear close to the maximum, the knife has several abrasions located in the central part of the blade, on the edges of the ring and on the corner of the blade close to the handle.
The pattern index affects the color ratio of the skin. Karambit | Fade with a predominance of yellow (“100% Fade” or “Full Fade”) is the most expensive pattern variation. The second-rarest pattern variation only slightly differs from “Full Fade” and is titled “99% Fade” (or “fake Full Fade”). Pattern variations where the amount of purple increases and the size of yellow areas decreases (“95%-98% Fade”) are also considered to be valuable.
The quality of Karambit | Fade is Covert. The skin has a StatTrak option and belongs to the "Fade" series.
Karambit | Fade is currently one of the most popular skins, but it is rarely seen in the game due to its high price.
