M4A4 | The Emperor was added to the game on March 14, 2019, as part of The Prisma Collection, which was released alongside the “Seeing the Light” update. The skin was created by OniLolz, Zaphk, and 2Minds.
The design of the skin is inspired by the Tarot card "The Emperor". The body of the rifle is painted in various shades of blue. The central part of the weapon is occupied by an image of a gray-haired man in a crown and a golden scepter. The image is surrounded by a circular pattern resembling sun rays. The magazine is adorned with an image of a blackbird with a crown on its head. The design of the skin is complemented by a large number of small images such as flags, coats of arms, colorful geometric shapes as well as Latin number IV symbolizing the card's number in the Tarot deck. A part of the buttstock is adorned with an abstract gold pattern.
Float Value of the skin is limited from 0.00 to 0.80, which makes M4A4 | The Emperor available in all conditions. The first abrasions appear on the magazine in Minimal Wear condition. At levels of wear close to the maximum, the painted parts of the weapon have significant abrasions and are coated with a layer of patina, which makes the skin look noticeably darker.
The pattern index does not affect the appearance of the skin.
