The body of the rifle has been painted with a detailed image of a hydra with numerous heads pointed towards the barrel. The body of the hydra is painted beige, the monster’s eyes and mouths are neon teal. The background is painted in a yellow-pink color scheme and features complex ornaments and gradient transitions. The barrel, scope, and rear part of the buttstock are solid white and feature an intricate pattern of thin brown lines.
The skin's Float Value ranges from 0.00 to 0.60, which makes AWP | Desert Hydra available in all conditions. Small abrasions appear on the white parts of the weapon in Minimal Wear condition. At levels of wear close to the maximum, the layer of white paint is almost completely peeled off, the rifle’s body is coated with a layer of patina, which makes the skin look noticeably darker.
