FAMAS | Faulty Wiring was added to the game on September 22, 2021, as part of The 2021 Vertigo 2 Collection, which was released alongside the start of Operation Riptide.
The rifle’s body has been painted with a gray-beige electrical panel pattern. The handle and the rear part of the buttstock are painted solid beige. The metal plate on the buttstock is black. The magazine remains unpainted.
The skin's Float Value ranges from 0.00 to 0.50, which makes FAMAS | Faulty Wiring available in all conditions. Small abrasions are already present on various parts of the weapon's body in Factory New condition, but at this stage, they are barely noticeable as they blend with the pattern. At levels of wear close to the maximum, about 50% of the paint layer is peeled off.
The pattern index affects the texture overlay. Rare or special variations of the pattern are absent.
The quality of FAMAS | Faulty Wiring is Consumer Grade. The skin is not available with a StatTrak counter and has no souvenir version.
At the moment, FAMAS | Faulty Wiring is not on the list of popular skins and is rarely seen in the game.
