Nomad Knife | Ultraviolet was added to the game on March 31, 2025, in the Spring Forward update and became one of the rare special items in the Fever Case. The skin was created by Valve. The Nomad Knife appeared in the game in 2019 as part of Operation Shattered Web and first received Chroma finishes in the Fever Case.
The entire blade is painted matte black. The main part of the handle is painted purple.
The skin's Float Value ranges from 0.06 to 0.80, which makes Nomad Knife | Ultraviolet available in all exterior conditions. The first minor abrasions appear in Field-Tested condition. After approximately 0.19, they become clearly noticeable but remain acceptable. After approximately 0.43, the degree of wear increases noticeably. At the highest Float Values, the abrasions become especially noticeable and have a significant impact on the appearance of the blade.
The pattern index does not affect the appearance of the skin.
