Skeleton Knife | Doppler Phase 2 was added to the game on March 31, 2025, in the Spring Forward update and became one of the rare special items in the Fever Case. The skin was created by Valve. The Skeleton Knife appeared in the game in 2019 as part of Operation Shattered Web and first received Chroma finishes in the Fever Case.
The blade is coated with metallic paint and decorated with a pattern of translucent wavy lines resembling clouds of smoke. The color scheme includes various shades of pink and purple, forming smooth gradient transitions. The handle is wrapped in black tape.
The skin's Float Value ranges from 0.00 to 0.08, which makes Skeleton Knife | Doppler Phase 2 available only in Factory New and Minimal Wear conditions. Even at the highest wear levels, there are almost no noticeable abrasions on the blade.
The pattern index affects the placement of the texture and colored areas on the blade surface. The gaming community highlights BTA Pink variants with pink dominating the play side of the blade. The most saturated variants are known as Max Pink or Pink Galaxy. Among them, #412 and #602 are considered the best Max Pink patterns. Some of the Tier 1 patterns are #16, #48, #126, #129, and #146. Pink Galaxy variants with a dark tip are also highlighted. Some of the Tier 1 patterns are #575, #763, #34, #41, and #87.
The quality of Skeleton Knife | Doppler Phase 2 is Covert. The skin is available in a StatTrak version. The skin is part of the Doppler series. Minimal Wear versions are less common than Factory New ones and may cost more. Their higher price comes from the rarity of the condition, not from a better appearance.
