AWP | Asiimov was added to the game on February 20, 2014, as part of The Phoenix Collection, which was released alongside the start of Operation Phoenix. The skin was created by Coridium.
The skin has a futuristic design. The body of the rifle is painted white and adorned with a pattern of black and bright orange stripes. The design is complemented by graphic elements in the form of crosses and geometric shapes located in different parts of the weapon.
Float Value of the skin ranges from 0.18 to 1.00, which makes AWP | Asiimov available in all conditions except Factory New and Minimal Wear. The first abrasions appear on the handguard and the buttstock in Field-Tested condition. At levels of wear close to the maximum, the entire body of the weapon has significant abrasions and becomes noticeably darker. The skin is considered to be especially valuable at Float Values from 0.90 to 1.00 when the scope is completely abraded. In this condition, the scope is called “blackiimov” (from “black scope” + “asiimov”).
The appearance of the skin remains unchanged regardless of the pattern index.
The quality of AWP | Asiimov is Covert. The skin has a StatTrak option and belongs to the "Asiimov" series.
AWP | Asiimov is currently a rather popular skin, which is often seen in the game.
