AWP | BOOM was added to the game on August 14, 2013, as part of The eSports 2013 Collection, which was released alongside “The Arms Deal” update.
The design of the skin is made in a comic style. The body of the rifle is painted orange and complemented by a dotted pattern. The background is adorned with speech bubbles “BOOM!”, “BLAM!”, “POW!” and “CRACK!”. The barrel, the scope and the back part of the buttstock are not painted.
Float Value of the skin ranges from 0.06 to 0.28, which makes AWP | BOOM available only in Factory New, Minimal Wear, and Field-Tested condition. The first abrasions appear on the buttstock and the handguard in Field-Tested condition. At levels of wear close to the maximum, the number of abrasions increases.
The texture overlay depends on the pattern index. The most valuable pattern variations are those with the speech bubble “CRACK!” located in the central part of the rifle.
The quality of AWP | BOOM is Classified. The skin has a StatTrak option.
At the moment, AWP | BOOM is not on the list of popular skins and is rarely seen in the game.
