MAC-10 | Fade was added to the game on May 26, 2015, as part of The Chop Shop Collection, which was released alongside the start of Operation Bloodhound.
The receiver is chromed and coated with translucent paints creating gradient transitions. The color scheme of the skin includes various shades of purple, pink, and yellow. The rest of the weapon is not painted. The color ratio of the gradient depends on the pattern index.
Float Value of the skin ranges from 0.00 to 0.08, which makes MAC-10 | Fade only available Factory New and Minimal Wear conditions. Small abrasions are already present on unpainted parts of the body in Factory New condition. At levels of wear close to the maximum, the number and size of abrasions remain almost unchanged.
The pattern index affects the texture overlay. The most valuable pattern variations are those with a maximum amount of purple shades (100% Fade or Full Fade). Patterns where the amount of purple decreases (95% Fade or 90% Fade) are also considered to be valuable.
The quality of MAC-10 | Fade is Mil-Spec Grade. The skin is not available with the StatTrak counter and has no souvenir option. The skin belongs to the "Fade" series.
At the moment, MAC-10 | Fade has average popularity.
