SSG 08 | Halftone Whorl was added to the game on October 2, 2024, as part of The Graphic Design Collection, released with The Armory update. The skin was created by Valve.
Most of the rifle's body is decorated with a wavy pattern. The color scheme gradually goes from lilac shades on the front part of the weapon through green in the central part to blue on the stock. The barrel remains unpainted. Some parts of the scope and the inserts on the grip are finished in blue.
The skin's Float Value ranges from 0.00 to 0.50, which makes SSG 08 | Halftone Whorl available in all exterior conditions. The first minor abrasions appear on various parts of the body in Minimal Wear condition. They become clearly noticeable at approximately 0.25. As the Float Value grows, abrasions increase in number and size. At the highest wear levels, the skin takes on a warmer tone, while the wavy pattern remains clearly visible.
The pattern index affects the placement of the wavy pattern on the weapon's surface. There are no rare or special pattern variations.
The quality of SSG 08 | Halftone Whorl is Industrial Grade. The skin is not available with a StatTrak counter.
