XM1014 | Monster Melt was added to the game on October 2, 2024, as part of The Overpass 2024 Collection, released with The Armory update. The skin was created by Valve.
The handguard, receiver, and grip are painted mainly pink and decorated with numerous colorful monsters drawn in a graffiti style. The characters have sad expressions and appear to be starting to melt while still keeping their shape. On the back side of the weapon, the same monsters are shown at a later stage of melting and look much more deformed. The barrel is painted black and decorated with small colorful emojis. The stock features a black-and-purple color scheme and is decorated with unreadable inscriptions and graphic elements in a spray-painted graffiti style.
The skin's Float Value ranges from 0.00 to 0.75, which makes XM1014 | Monster Melt available in all exterior conditions. The first minor abrasions appear on various parts of the body in Minimal Wear condition. They become clearly noticeable at approximately 0.17. As the Float Value grows, abrasions increase in number and size, while the skin becomes noticeably darker. At the highest wear levels, the body is covered with significant abrasions, most of the background design is worn away, but the images of the monsters remain partially recognizable.
The pattern index does not affect the skin's appearance.
The quality of XM1014 | Monster Melt is Restricted. The skin is not available with a StatTrak counter.
