AWP | Mortis was added to the game on February 14, 2018, as part of The Clutch Collection, which was released alongside the “Welcome to the Clutch” update. The skin was created by OniLolz, Zaphk, and 2Minds.
The design of the skin is inspired by the Death Tarot card. The skin is made in black, brown, and red colors. The buttstock is adorned with an image of the Grim Reaper. The central part of the receiver is complemented with an image of a horse skeleton painted against the checkered background, which is also present on the scope. The buttstock is adorned with an abstract pattern and numerous images of stars. The barrel, the scope and the back part of the buttstock are not painted.
Float Value of the skin ranges from 0.00 to 0.64, which makes AWP | Mortis available in all conditions. The first abrasions appear on the scope and in the upper part of the receiver already in Factory New. At levels of wear close to the maximum, the paint layer on the scope and in the upper part of the receiver is completely peeled, the skin becomes noticeably darker.
The pattern index does not affect the appearance of the skin.
The quality of AWP| Mortis is Classified. The skin has a StatTrak option.
