M249 | Nebula Crusader was added to the game on September 17, 2015, as part of The Shadow Collection, which was released alongside the “Shadow Boxing” update. The skin was created by OniLolz and Zaphk.
The appearance of the skin resembles the design of arcade machines from the 80’s. The receiver is coated with dark blue metal paint and adorned with images of space ships and elements of the game interface. The magazine is complemented with an image of an astronaut with a red planet in the background and the inscription “Nebula Crusader”. Individual parts of the weapon are painted solid red. The back part of the buttstock is adorned with a black image of a star with an orbit. The rear sight and individual parts of the weapon are not painted.
Float Value of the skin ranges from 0.00 to 1.00, which makes M249 | Nebula Crusader available in all conditions. Small abrasions are already present on the body of the machine gun in Factory New condition. At levels of wear close to the maximum, the number and size of abrasions increase, the entire body of the weapon is coated with a layer of patina, which gives the skin a green tint. As levels of wear grow, pixel fragments of a lighter shade appear in different parts of the body.
The pattern index does not affect the appearance of the skin.
The quality of M249 | Nebula Crusader is Restricted. The skin has a StatTrak option.
