M4A4 | Griffin was added to the game on November 11, 2014, as part of The Vanguard Collection, which was released alongside the start of Operation Vanguard. On December 18, 2014, the skin was redesigned due to copyright violations.
The body of the rifle is painted black and adorned with an image of a griffin, a winged mythological creature with the head of an eagle and the body of a lion. The head of the griffin is white and the body is painted in various shades of brown. The image occupies the central part of the weapon including the receiver, the magazine, and the handle. The background behind the griffin is painted in a teal gradient. The design of the skin is complemented with multiple images of brown feathers scattered over the handguard and the buttstock.
Effect of float
Float Value of the skin is limited from 0.00 to 0.80, which makes M4A4 | Griffin available in all conditions. The first abrasions appear on the magazine in Minimal Wear condition. The quality of M4A4 | Griffin is Restricted. The skin has a StatTrak option.
M4A4 | Griffin became popular after the release and remains in demand today.
