Nova | Red Quartz was added to the game on September 22, 2021, as part of The 2021 Train Collection, which was released alongside the start of Operation Riptide.
The receiver and buttstock have been painted with an orange geometric pattern resembling the texture of a crystal. The barrel has been coated with dark orange metallic paint. Individual parts of the body remain unpainted.
The skin's Float Value ranges from 0.00 to 0.40, which makes Nova | Red Quartz available in all conditions except Battle-Scarred. Small abrasions are already present on various parts of the weapon's body in Factory New condition. At levels of wear close to the maximum, the number and size of abrasions increase significantly, the paint layer on the barrel, upper part of the receiver, and handle is almost completely peeled off.
The pattern index affects the texture overlay. Rare or special variations of the pattern are absent.
The quality of Nova | Red Quartz is Restricted. The skin is not available with a StatTrak counter, has no souvenir version, and belongs to the “Red Quartz” series.
Nova | Red Quartz is currently a rather popular skin, which is often seen in the game.
