FAMAS | Snake Song was added to the game on July 8, 2026, as part of The Arabesque Collection, released with the Season 5, Armory, and More update. The skin was created by apel8 and YYanin. Another skin by the duo, AK-47 | Consequence of the Jinn, was added to the game in the same update.
The rifle's body has a matte gold finish. The handguard, receiver, and stock feature a snake with dragon-like features. The creature has a long green body covered in scales, a large head with open jaws, fangs, and a long red tongue. One clawed leg is positioned on the pistol grip, while the other is closer to the rear of the stock. The image of the snake is outlined with thin golden lines. The carry handle, pistol grip, and magazine are decorated with dark green winding lines and interwoven patterns.
The skin's Float Value ranges from 0.00 to 1.00, which makes FAMAS | Snake Song available in all exterior conditions. The first abrasions appear on various parts of the rifle in Minimal Wear condition and become clearly noticeable at Float Values above 0.21. As the Float Value rises, abrasions increase in number and size. At the highest wear levels, the gold coating is almost completely worn away, while the image of the snake and the dark green patterns remain almost free of abrasions. The skin becomes noticeably darker and develops a patina.
The pattern index does not affect the skin's appearance.
The quality of FAMAS | Snake Song is Mil-Spec Grade. The skin is not available with a StatTrak counter. The original Workshop submission was titled “And the Snakes Start to Sing” after the song of the same name by Bring Me the Horizon.
