Nova | Morning Sun was added to the game on July 8, 2026, as part of The Arabesque Collection, released with the Season 5, Armory, and More update. The skin was created by friendly. According to available information, this is the artist's first weapon skin to be accepted into the game.
Most of the shotgun's body is painted in two shades of beige. The receiver and stock are decorated with an embossed floral ornament. A similar ornament appears on some parts of the handguard. An embossed spiral pattern runs along the barrel. It is most visible near the base and gradually becomes less pronounced toward the muzzle.
The skin's Float Value ranges from 0.00 to 1.00, which makes Nova | Morning Sun available in all exterior conditions. The first abrasions appear on various parts of the shotgun in Field-Tested condition and become clearly noticeable at Float Values above 0.30. As the Float Value rises, abrasions increase in number and size. At Float Values above 0.38, the metal elements take on a rusty orange hue. At the highest wear levels, much of the coating is worn away. The skin becomes noticeably darker.
The pattern index does not affect the skin's appearance.
The quality of Nova | Morning Sun is Industrial Grade. The skin is not available with a StatTrak counter.
