Tec-9 | Sultan was added to the game on July 8, 2026, as part of The Arabesque Collection, released with the Season 5, Armory, and More update. The skin was created by MORRAXVIII and apel8. According to available information, this is MORRAXVIII's first weapon skin to be accepted into the game. Another skin by apel8, AK-47 | Consequence of the Jinn, was added to the game in the same update.
Most of the pistol's body and the magazine are painted gold. The surface is decorated with mosaic panels featuring geometric and floral arabesques. The panels are designed to resemble antique ceramic tiles. Many of them show cracks and chips. Above the magazine is an image of the sun with a human face. The grip is decorated with floral motifs and an image of a fantastical creature with a lion's mane and a leopard-like spotted body. The skin's color palette includes turquoise, blue, white, red, and gold.
The skin's Float Value ranges from 0.00 to 1.00, which makes Tec-9 | Sultan available in all exterior conditions. The first abrasions appear on various parts of the pistol in Field-Tested condition and become clearly noticeable at Float Values above 0.73. As the Float Value rises, abrasions increase in number and size. At the highest wear levels, large portions of the design are worn away, and a green patina develops on the gold-colored areas.
The pattern index does not affect the skin's appearance.
The quality of Tec-9 | Sultan is Mil-Spec Grade. The skin is not available with a StatTrak counter. According to apel8, the skin was named after his childhood dog, Sultan.
