Five-SeveN | Heat Treated was added to the game on October 2, 2024, as part of The Sport & Field Collection, released with The Armory update. The skin was created by Valve.
The slide has a pronounced metallic shine and is covered with an irregular pattern of blue, purple, golden, and reddish-orange patches, resembling the surface of heat-treated metal. The frame, grip, and other parts of the body remain unpainted and have an artificially aged appearance.
The skin's Float Value ranges from 0.00 to 1.00, which makes Five-SeveN | Heat Treated available in all exterior conditions. As the Float Value rises, a patina gradually develops on the surface of the slide, causing it to darken and its metallic sheen to become less pronounced. At Float Values above 0.60, the patina becomes clearly noticeable. At the same time, the colored pattern on the surface of the slide remains almost unchanged. At the highest wear levels, the patina becomes more pronounced, and the slide becomes noticeably darker and duller.
The pattern index affects the placement and proportion of colored areas on the slide. The most valuable variants are dominated by blue shades and contain minimal amounts of purple and yellow areas. Such patterns are classified as Blue Gems. Pattern index #904 is considered the best Blue Gem. Other highly valuable patterns in this category include #148 and #704. Another category, known as Purple Gems, includes patterns dominated by rich purple shades. Pattern index #944 is a typical example.
The quality of Five-SeveN | Heat Treated is Restricted. The skin is not available with a StatTrak counter and is often considered a more affordable alternative to Five-SeveN | Case Hardened.
