USP-S | Alpine Camo was added to the game on October 2, 2024, as part of The Sport & Field Collection, released with The Armory update. The skin was created by Valve.
The frame and pistol grip are painted solid blue. The slide is decorated with a blue camouflage pattern, while the silencer features a camouflage pattern in purple shades. Several metal parts on the pistol's body have a multicolored finish resembling heat-treated metal.
The skin's Float Value ranges from 0.00 to 0.68, which makes USP-S | Alpine Camo available in all exterior conditions. The first minor abrasions appear on various parts of the body in Minimal Wear condition. They become clearly noticeable at approximately 0.28. As the Float Value grows, they increase in number and size. At the highest wear levels, a significant part of the paint layer is worn away, and the skin becomes noticeably darker.
The pattern index does not affect the placement of the camouflage pattern but changes the distribution of colors on small metal parts. Variants with a larger amount of blue are considered the most valuable and are classified by the community as Blue Gems. Notable patterns with a large amount of blue include #16, #67, #159, #297, #482, #704, #781, #904, #948, and #990.
The quality of USP-S | Alpine Camo is Mil-Spec Grade. The skin is not available with a StatTrak counter.
