M4A1-S | Fade was added to the game on October 2, 2024, as part of The Sport & Field Collection, released with The Armory update. The skin was created by Valve.
Most of the rifle's body has a chrome base and is coated with translucent paints forming a smooth gradient of purple, pink, and yellow shades. The stock, pistol grip, and some small parts of the weapon remain unpainted.
The skin's Float Value ranges from 0.00 to 0.08, which makes M4A1-S | Fade available only in Factory New and Minimal Wear conditions. The first minor abrasions appear on various parts of the body already in Factory New condition. As the Float Value grows, their number and size remain almost unchanged. At the highest wear levels, the abrasions remain almost unnoticeable.
The pattern index affects the placement of the gradient and the proportion of colored areas on the surface of the body. The most valuable variants feature smooth color transitions, a predominance of pink shades, and a minimal amount of light areas without colored coating. These patterns range from approximately 80% to 100% Fade. Pattern index #374 has a 100% Fade value. The closest variants include patterns #279, #80, #441, and #666, with a Fade percentage above 99%.
The quality of M4A1-S | Fade is Covert. The skin is not available with a StatTrak counter and is in very high demand among players.
