Tec-9 | Banana Leaf was added to the game on January 21, 2026, as part of The Harlequin Collection, released with the Fourth Season update. The skin was created by Valve.
The upper part of the body and the magazine are covered with a dynamic pattern of stylized banana leaves in yellow and black. The lower part of the body and the pistol grip are painted solid yellow. The barrel and some smaller parts of the weapon remain unpainted. The placement of the pattern on the weapon's body depends on the pattern index.
The skin's Float Value ranges from 0.00 to 0.60, which makes Tec-9 | Banana Leaf available in all exterior conditions. The first minor abrasions appear on the yellow parts of the body in Factory New condition and become clearly noticeable at approximately 0.07. As the Float Value rises, abrasions increase in number and size. At the highest wear levels, the body is covered with significant abrasions, and the pattern becomes almost unrecognizable. The remaining paint becomes noticeably darker.
The pattern index affects the skin's appearance. There are no rare or special pattern variations.
The quality of Tec-9 | Banana Leaf is Industrial Grade. The skin is not available in a StatTrak version. At low wear levels, the skin may appeal to players who collect yellow-themed loadouts.
