M4A1-S | Black Lotus was added to the game on February 6, 2024, as part of The Kilowatt Collection, released with the A Call to Arms update. The skin was created by moonfighter and Ariata. The first skin in this series, USP-S | Black Lotus, was added to the game back in 2021.
The rifle's body features a blue-purple color scheme and is decorated with a floral design. The receiver features a large lotus flower with purple petals and a pink-orange center. Stems with numerous leaves and buds extend from the flower across the handguard and stock. The silencer, barrel, magazine, pistol grip, and some other parts of the weapon are unpainted. A small BLACK LOTUS inscription is located on the side of the silencer.
The skin's Float Value ranges from 0.00 to 0.70, which makes M4A1-S | Black Lotus available in all exterior conditions. No abrasions appear on the weapon's body. As the Float Value rises, the design gradually becomes lighter, while the blue areas take on a more pronounced purple tint. At the same time, the unpainted parts of the weapon develop a pinkish tint. At the highest wear levels, the changes in the color scheme become especially noticeable, while the floral design remains almost unchanged.
The pattern index does not affect the skin's appearance.
The quality of M4A1-S | Black Lotus is Classified. The skin is available in a StatTrak version. The skin placed third in the Skin of the Year category at the 2024 HLTV Awards. The Black Lotus series was inspired by the rare card of the same name from the collectible card game Magic: The Gathering.
On CS.MONEY, M4A1-S | Black Lotus is the most common M4A1-S skin: about 2,500 offers.
