Nova | Dark Sigil was added to the game on February 6, 2024, as part of The Kilowatt Collection, released with the A Call to Arms update. The skin was created by VIRTUALMAN and apel8. Another skin by apel8, AK-47 | Legion of Anubis, was previously added to the game.
The shotgun's body is unpainted. The handguard and the rear part of the stock are made of wood. The receiver is decorated with engraved ornamental patterns consisting of numerous intertwined lines and swirls. A stylized image of a wolf's head with an open mouth is located above the trigger. The stock features an image of a mythical creature with an open mouth and a bright red eye, surrounded by similar ornaments.
The skin's Float Value ranges from 0.00 to 0.70, which makes Nova | Dark Sigil available in all exterior conditions. As the Float Value rises, minor abrasions appear on the weapon's body, but they barely affect the skin's appearance, even at the highest wear levels.
The pattern index does not affect the skin's appearance.
The quality of Nova | Dark Sigil is Mil-Spec Grade. The skin is available in a StatTrak version. In the Steam Workshop, the creator apel8 has presented a Norse Mythology collection featuring Norse-themed skins for the AK-47, AWP, MAC-10, and other weapons.
On CS.MONEY, Nova | Dark Sigil is among the ten most common Nova skins: about 170 offers.
