M4A4 | Etch Lord was added to the game on February 6, 2024, as part of The Kilowatt Collection, released with the A Call to Arms update. The skin was created by HEWOK and Irapele. According to available information, this was the first skin by both creators to be accepted into the game.
The rifle's body is painted a dark metallic color and features an image of a twisting snake designed to resemble scratches on metal. The image extends across the receiver and stock. The upper part of the body features the inscription IF YOU DON'T KILL THE SNAKE, THE SNAKE WILL KILL YOU. The handguard and pistol grip are unpainted. The magazine is made of translucent plastic, allowing the cartridges inside to be seen. It also features a blue 5.56/30 marking. The painted surfaces have a pronounced metallic shine.
The skin's Float Value ranges from 0.00 to 1.00, which makes M4A4 | Etch Lord available in all exterior conditions. Small scratches are already present on the weapon's body in Factory New condition. As the Float Value rises, additional abrasions appear mainly on the magazine, while the painted surfaces gradually take on a warmer tone. At the highest Float Values, the skin develops a rich orange color resembling copper patina. The snake design remains clearly recognizable.
The pattern index does not affect the skin's appearance.
The quality of M4A4 | Etch Lord is Restricted. The skin is available in a StatTrak version. The 5.56/30 marking on the magazine indicates 30 rounds of 5.56 mm ammunition. The weapon's body also features the code 7355608, referencing the combination displayed on the C4 bomb in Counter-Strike.
On CS.MONEY, M4A4 | Etch Lord ranks 12th of 52 M4A4 skins by number of offers: about 600.
