Tec-9 | Slag was added to the game on February 6, 2024, as part of The Kilowatt Collection, released with the A Call to Arms update. The skin was created by EGO and Ein. Another skin by EGO, Galil AR | Chatterbox, was previously added to the game.
Most of the pistol's body is gray and features an embossed pattern of numerous diagonal grooves. The receiver is made of unpainted metal, with scratches, abrasions, and rust spots on its surface. Some parts of the receiver are attached with welds. Certain areas of the metal surface have a pronounced shine. The magazine is painted brownish-gray and decorated with a large white number 9 showing signs of wear. The skin has an artificially aged appearance.
The skin's Float Value ranges from 0.00 to 0.90, which makes Tec-9 | Slag available in all exterior conditions. Minor abrasions are already present on the weapon's body in Factory New condition. As the Float Value rises, abrasions increase in number and size, mainly on the magazine. At the same time, the skin noticeably darkens and takes on a warmer tone. At the highest Float Values, the body develops a pronounced brownish tint.
The pattern index does not affect the skin's appearance.
The quality of Tec-9 | Slag is Mil-Spec Grade. The skin is available in a StatTrak version.
