MP5-SD | Focus was added to the game on September 16, 2025, as part of The Genesis Collection, released with the Show Off update. The skin was created by SerQ. SerQ previously worked on AK-47 | Head Shot, which was also accepted into the game.
Most of the submachine gun's body is covered with gray-blue paint with a metallic effect. Various parts of the body feature bright accents in the form of thin red stripes. The stock and rear part of the pistol grip are complemented with inserts that resemble carbon fiber. An inscription with an optical effect is applied to the unpainted handguard and reads either STAY or FOCUSED depending on the viewing angle. Small white technical inscriptions also appear on the body.
The skin's Float Value ranges from 0.00 to 1.00, which makes MP5-SD | Focus available in all exterior conditions. The first minor abrasions appear on various parts of the body in Field-Tested condition. At approximately 0.40, the metal areas begin to develop a patina. At the highest wear levels, the patina becomes rusty-orange and covers much of the metal surface.
The pattern index does not affect the skin's appearance.
The quality of MP5-SD | Focus is Mil-Spec Grade. The skin is available in a StatTrak version.
