MP7 | Smoking Kills was added to the game on September 16, 2025, as part of The Genesis Collection, released with the Show Off update. The skin was created by mpolous and 48. According to available information, this is the first weapon skin by both artists to be added to the game.
The receiver, barrel, and foregrip are painted emerald green. The receiver is decorated with an image of a girl with pink hair, sunglasses, and a cigarette in her mouth. Clouds of white smoke extend from the cigarette along the receiver. The front section of the weapon features the yellow inscription SMOKING KILLS. The magazine and pistol grip are painted dark purple. A purple insert is also present on the stock. The design is complemented by small inscriptions, symbols, and technical markings.
The skin's Float Value ranges from 0.00 to 1.00, which makes MP7 | Smoking Kills available in all exterior conditions. The first minor abrasions appear on various parts of the body in Field-Tested condition and become clearly noticeable at approximately 0.44. As the Float Value rises, abrasions increase in number and size. At the highest wear levels, abrasions are most noticeable on the image of the girl and the clouds of smoke. The green and purple parts of the body retain their color.
The pattern index does not affect the skin's appearance.
The quality of MP7 | Smoking Kills is Classified. The skin is available in a StatTrak version. According to the creators' concept, the weapon “kills twice.” A shot kills instantly, and a cigarette kills slowly. MP7 | Smoking Kills was among the ten nominees in the HLTV community vote for the best skin of 2025.
