Nova | Ocular was added to the game on September 16, 2025, as part of The Genesis Collection, released with the Show Off update. The skin was created by Kattys and CROPE. CROPE previously worked on AK-47 | Searing Rage, which was also accepted into the game.
The skin's design resembles a collage. Realistic images of human eyes and an ear are combined with an abstract composition in purple, emerald green, and beige shades with small orange accents. The composition includes geometric lines, patches of color, and stylized images of human faces. The main design covers the receiver and stock. The handguard is decorated with a wavy pattern in blue and beige shades.
The skin's Float Value ranges from 0.00 to 1.00, which makes Nova | Ocular available in all exterior conditions. The first minor abrasions appear on various parts of the body in Field-Tested condition and become clearly noticeable at approximately 0.17. As the Float Value rises, abrasions increase in number and size. At the highest wear levels, a significant part of the paint is worn away. The skin becomes noticeably darker.
The pattern index does not affect the skin's appearance.
The quality of Nova | Ocular is Restricted. The skin is available in a StatTrak version. In the Steam Workshop, the work was also presented in red and sand-colored variants. The blue version was added to the game.
