MP9 | Broken Record was added to the game on September 16, 2025, as part of The Genesis Collection, released with the Show Off update. The skin was created by Des and el_tus. Another collaborative work by the artists, SSG 08 | Dezastre, was previously added to the game.
The black body of the submachine gun is decorated with an image of a vinyl record with a gold-colored border. The record covers the rear part of the receiver and part of the pistol grip. Its center label features the inscription CLASSIC ALBUMS and an image of a soldier firing a weapon. Gold-colored accents and small inscriptions also appear on other parts of the body.
The skin's Float Value ranges from 0.00 to 1.00, which makes MP9 | Broken Record available in all exterior conditions. The first minor abrasions appear on various parts of the body in Field-Tested condition and become clearly noticeable at approximately 0.37. As the Float Value rises, abrasions increase in number and size. At the highest wear levels, the gold-colored elements become noticeably darker and are partially worn away.
The pattern index does not affect the skin's appearance.
The quality of MP9 | Broken Record is Mil-Spec Grade. The skin is available in a StatTrak version.
