M249 | Bock Blocks was added to the game on March 11, 2026, as part of The Dead Hand Collection, released with the Dead Hand update. The skin was created by SLIMEface, who previously created AK-47 | Bloodsport and Galil AR | Sugar Rush.
The entire body of the machine gun is painted dark purple. The body also features an abstract geometric pattern in pink and lilac-purple tones. The composition consists of squares, circles, triangles, stripes, and checkerboard patterns. The design is complemented by images of eyes, arrows, and crosses. A stylized chicken's head is depicted on the stock.
The skin's Float Value ranges from 0.00 to 1.00, which makes M249 | Bock Blocks available in all exterior conditions. The first minor abrasions appear on various parts of the body in Field-Tested condition. As the Float Value rises, abrasions increase in number and size. Signs of wear become clearly noticeable at approximately 0.19. At the highest wear levels, the paint layer is significantly worn away, while the elements of the pattern remain partially recognizable.
The pattern index does not affect the skin's appearance.
The quality of M249 | Bock Blocks is Mil-Spec Grade. The skin is available in a StatTrak version.
