AUG | Signal Scanner was added to the game on July 8, 2026, as part of The Spy Tech Collection, released with the Season 5, Armory, and More update. The skin was created by RipSkins. It was the first weapon skin by the artist to be added to the game.
The rifle's body is painted matte black and decorated with an embossed pattern that resembles the lines on a circuit board. Different parts of the body feature horizontal multicolored stripes, technical inscriptions, markings, and icons. A section of the receiver under the scope is painted with a purple-to-pink gradient. A small display above the magazine shows the green inscription READY / LOCKED.
The skin's Float Value ranges from 0.00 to 1.00, which makes AUG | Signal Scanner available in all exterior conditions. The first minor abrasions appear on the magazine in Field-Tested condition. As the Float Value rises, they spread to other parts of the body but remain barely noticeable even at high wear levels. However, the paint on the embossed grid covering the magazine is almost completely worn away. At the highest wear levels, the multicolored accents fade or almost completely lose their color, making the skin look more monochrome.
The pattern index does not affect the skin's appearance.
The quality of AUG | Signal Scanner is Mil-Spec Grade. The skin is not available in a StatTrak version.
