MP7 | Base-2 was added to the game on July 8, 2026, as part of The Spy Tech Collection, released with the Season 5, Armory, and More update. The skin was created by opacha, SHAFT, and miru. It was the first weapon skin by SHAFT to be added to the game.
The submachine gun's body is decorated with an abstract digital pattern in various shades of green. A large stylized MP7 inscription is located in the central part of the body. Its light green elements are covered with sequences of digits. The pistol grip is painted dark green, while the front and rear parts of the receiver feature light green details. Some parts of the body are covered with a dark texture that resembles carbon fiber. Small white and red icons appear on several areas of the weapon.
The skin's Float Value ranges from 0.00 to 1.00, which makes MP7 | Base-2 available in all exterior conditions. Minor abrasions are already present on various parts of the body in Factory New condition. As the Float Value rises, abrasions increase in number and size. They become clearly noticeable at approximately 0.08. At the highest wear levels, much of the green coating is worn away. The stylized MP7 inscription is almost unaffected by abrasions but becomes noticeably darker.
The pattern index does not affect the skin's appearance.
The quality of MP7 | Base-2 is Industrial Grade. The skin is not available in a StatTrak version. The numbers 1337 and 7355608 are hidden in the design. The number 7355608 refers to the bomb code in Counter-Strike.
