Morphling is a ranged character. His primary attribute is agility. The hero is mainly taken to the easy lane as a carry. Most effective in the mid and late game.
Abilities such as Attribute Shift (Agility Gain) and Attribute Shift (Strength Gain) allow Morphling to absorb massive amounts of damage or inflict it depending on the situation. Waveform allows the hero to quickly leave a fight or initiate it. Adaptive Strike (Agility Gain) allows the hero to quickly eleminate weak heroes, and Adaptive Strike (Strength Gain) to get away from an enemy. With the purchase of Aghanim's Shard, this ability can affect two enemies. Morph allows to diversify Morphling’s gameplay, which can play a very important role in a team fight. Aghanim's Scepter upgrades this ability weakening the targeted unit depending on its primary attribute.

The soldiers of the warring parties disappeared in the water one by one, and Morphling shifted from form to form. Now a footsoldier, now an archer, now a cavalryman. Morphling played every part, but the battle's end was his beginning.
