Slark is a melee character. His primary attribute is agility. The hero is mainly taken to the easy lane as a carry. Most effective in the mid and late game.
Slark is a very durable hero thanks to his Shadow Dance ability, which also helps him understand if the enemy can see him or not. Pounce increases the hero’s mobility, allowing him to catch up with an enemy, or get away from him bypassing obstacles in front of him, which will be even easier with the purchase of Aghanim's Scepter. Dark Pact helps Slark avoid almost any attack or control coming from an enemy. Essence Shift allows the character to become more dangerous and powerful with each blow and each enemy death. Aghanim's Shard grants the hero the Depth Shroud ability, which allows Slark and his team to gain additional advantage in team fights.
Slark spent half a lifetime pitched into Dark Reef for unknown crimes. Somehow Slark learned about impending prison break. Ten prisoners died in the escape attempt, and two were captured and executed. But no one knew that there were thirteen fugitives…
