Zeus is a ranged character. His primary attribute is intelligence. The hero is mainly taken as a midlaner. Most effective in the early and mid game.
Zeus prefers to be at a distance from opponents. Arc Lightning allows him to push the lane, farm groups of creeps and deal massive damage in team fights. Lightning Bolt is one of his offensive spells. This ability can also be useful in finding enemy wards and invisible creatures. Heavenly Jump allows Zeus to evade or initiate an attack briefly weakening the victim. Thundergod's Wrath allows the character to participate in any team fight, as well as find out the location of enemy heroes. Buying Aghanim's Shard will increase the damage of the Static Field spell, and Aghanim's Scepter grants the hero the Nimbus ability, which will allow Zeus to participate in battles across the map even more often.
Zeus is a Lord of Heaven. After being caught unnumbered times in the midst of trysts with countless mortal women, his divine wife finally gave him an ultimatum to become mortal and prove himself faithful. He has been on his best behavior ever since, being somewhat fonder of immortality than he is of mortals. But to prove himself worthy of his eternal spouse, he must continue to pursue victory on the field of battle.
